weddings weddings weddings

This seems to be the season for weddings, For my childrens paternal grandparents, 3 out of their 5 grandchildren have married, or will be getting married, in less that a year. Our son got married in April to a beautiful Christian girl who is all that I could ever have wanted for him and more. My older daughter is engaged and will marry next Spring, again, to a godly partner who is also great. He is Welsh and has a really good sense of humour.  Who knows, the youngest daughter may follow suit, and marry her really nice boyfriend of 5 years. The strange thing is that we have all ended up with people who have similar characters, in that they are all easy going, kind, patient, good natured, and very easy to please. God knew what we all needed.
I wish that my own parents could have seen their grandchildren marry, how proud they would have been to see how they all turned out, and to see them with such amazing spouses.
Anyway, on with the weddings. We also attended my neices wedding 2 weeks ago and our son and his wife attended 5 weddings in 6 weeks, all over the country!!!! Both of our daughters have also been to 2 each this year.
I think that its all very encouraging that so many young people still want to marry(even those with no faith), and I pray that God will bless each one of them and their lives together. The main thing for a Christian I believe, is to make sure that the one you marry is Gods choice for you. I know this is the case for me and our children, and I know that their marriages will be blessed by God in so many ways in the future.God has great plans for our son and his wife, and our daughter and her fiance, I am 100% sure of that, in fact he is already using them in many ways, both in their churches and lives in general.
Marriage is one of Gods best inventions, and I thank Him for it.
Who knows, we may even have the patter of tiny feet before too long. Cant wait!

Gods restoration.

God promises to restore to us ALL that we have lost. If bad or terrible things happen to us, or if we have lost things through no fault of our own. God promises to restore those things back to us.
The word "I will restore to you all that the locusts have eaten" is one that I have been given by three different people in three different places, at three different times in the last 10 years or so. In a 20 year period, so many really awful things happened in my life, and it was like living in darknesss for all that time.
However, if bad things happen through no fault of our own, and we keep our faith and act with honestly, fainess and integrity throughout, God will vindicate us and not only restore what we lost, but restore far more than we lost.!

6 years ago, the restoration finally began with meeting my second husband. He was the man who God used to begin this change in my life. He was like the calvary who turned up to help save me when I felt that I was  on my last legs. God restored to me a good and godly husband who has bucket loads of integrity and very high moral values. He gave my children a brilliant step father, which has helped them so much. They respect him and love him a lot. God got me out of debt, and He has restored my health to a very large degree.God has worked in my childrens lives in amazing ways, and He has given my son a beautiful Christian wife, and my older daugher a very godly fiance.

As His restoration continues, we are believing Him for a really nice house. We both lost our homes through no fault of our own,  and I know that God is working on restoring to us a far better house than either of us have ever had before, one that we can buy together. We have asked him for what we want in a house. It will need to be a miracle, but nothing is impossible to God, and He rewards us for what we have endured and  the way we have acted despite these things..So watch this space............
I look forward to seeing what else God will do in the future, in our lives and in the childrens lives. I know that He will also carry on using us in great ways as we grow close to him.My husband has been given amazing words of How God will use Him in the future. Its very exciting. He longs to bless those who trust Him, and follow His ways, and act with honesty and integrity.
God Bless
